A native of Lafayette, April graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She received her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in 2004. April has 20 years of experience in representing clients in both hearings and trials in East Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes.  In October of 2019, April finally realized her dream of opening her own law firm.  She works diligently and passionately every day to assist her clients in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, protective orders and community property.

April enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading, traveling, fishing and cooking good Cajun meals. April is member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Church community.  April is the proud mom of her daughter, Katherine.
